Our history
Swim Upstream was founded out of a passion for travel. Adrian, the founder, started traveling at 19 by himself to Brazil on summer break. Growing up in the metropolitan NYC area, arriving in Brazil was a culture shock that started a life long passion. There are so many people that have the time and money, but are hesitant because they're scared of the unknown. We offer the solution.
Our values
We are guided by our core values in everything we do. Confidentiality is a cornerstone of our ethos. We work hard to make sure that our clients become repeat customers. We see our clients as an extended family and will do everything we can to meet their demands.
Our team
As of today, we're a one man team. Newly founded this year, 2025, we can offer a greater focus on our clients. The goal is to grow the business to have team members in each region to meet you at the airport. As we are just starting out, you will receive 110% effort to assist you on your travels.

Adrian has been passionate about travel ever since visiting Brazil for the first time during college. After falling in love with Brazil, Adrian learned Portuguese and later Spanish. He studied medicine before in Detroit, and later biochemistry in Atlanta, but it wasn't meant to be. His interests are debating endless things, the occasional Netflix series and hanging out at the beach. Favorite food is Filipino barbecue.
